16.00 – 17.30 Presentation on the topic «Medical interventions for autism: How to decide on what treatments to use», Dr. Ramzi Nasir
In this presentation we will discuss commonly used interventions including medication therapies currently available. We will spend time discussing how Doctors and families can work together to evaluate the evidence for or against a particular intervention and how to decide on what is the best treatment option for each child. We will use the controversy about vaccinations as one of the examples of how complex it is for families to make decisions about treatments.

Day three – June 1, 2014. PRACTICAL SEMINARS

Parallelly led seminars in two rooms on different topics. By the end of the second day participants will be able to choose which of the seminars they wish to join.
